Sorry about the lack of posts this week. I’ve been running behind on my NaNoWriMo work and have been trying to catch up, and failing! But it’s okay you guys can listen to a really great story, and I’ll write like hell over the weekend. Make sure you have a good one too!

I’ve got a very special WVotW for you all! A YouTuber by the name of Rob Dyke started a contest for people with more modest channels. The winner will receive new equipment to help make their channel better.

For my entry, I not only talked about how I would use the prize, but I also give a small tour of Lakewood’s Fort Stilecoom Park – once a part of Washington’s Western State Hospital, an insane asylum that still exists nearby. I hope you all enjoy and with luck, you’ll be seeing more videos like this!

I posted another video! Nothing special, just a reading of Edgar Allen Poe’s ‘The Conqueror Worm,’ for your listening pleasure.

Yay! 100 posts! Here’s to having 100 more!

First, I’d like to apologize for the recent lack of posts. My new job has kept me rather busy and it’s difficult to find the time to create new content. It’s something that I’ll be working on in the future.

In the meantime, here’s an introduction to a series that I’m quite fond of. The one posted here is the first of many episodes. Sadly, it’s no longer updated, but it’s still a great way to get some education about deadly substances along with a dose of entertainment. Enjoy, and have a great weekend!

If you’re still itching to hear some more tales of nuclear war, this week’s video is a mock broadcast from a Toronto radio station as they report humanity’s last moments. It’s quite a long video, but very rewarding! Enjoy your radiation-free weekend.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week! I’ve had some computer trouble that got in the way of writing, but fortunately it’s all resolved now. We’ll get back to the storytelling next week.

In the meantime I thought I’d share a creepy video from my collection: an animated film about the bombing of Hiroshima. Enjoy!

Who’s in the mood for some post-apocalyptic speculation? I know I am! Here’s a little California history lesson about one of the state’s biggest blunders, along with the eerie reminders. I’d love to visit this place someday.

Do you know of the strange places like this? You’ve got a video about it? Let me know and I’ll post it here.
